Contemplative Arts
Contemplative arts bring beauty, vividness, and wisdom into our lives and environment. At our Shambhala Center, the arts and other contemplative disciplines are a vehicle for integrating mindfulness and awareness into everyday life. Each represents a genuine contemplative path that further enriches our day-to-day experience.
The New York Shambhala Center offers a continuing series of programs in various contemplative activities and disciplines, led by highly accomplished artists representing both the performing and visual arts. Some programs are offered on a regular basis, others are given periodically. The center also hosts special interest groups who meet regularly to explore contemplative approaches.
