After helping to found the Naropa Institute in Boulder in the 1970s, Eric returned to New York where he worked on Wall Street for 22 years, exploring the intersections between the view of meditation and “worldly” activity. He has worked extensively with people with HIV/AIDS and cancer, helping them to explore the dharma as their situations evolve, and also teaches yoga.

JANE KOLLEENY Jane Kolleeny has been teaching Buddhism and Shambhala Training since the late 1970s. In the mid-eighties, she moved to New York and began teaching at the Shambhala Meditation Center of New York.

JOHN BAKER met CHÖGYAM TRUNGPA , the founder of Shambhala Training, in 1970 and has been a student and teacher of the Shambhala Buddhist teachings since that time.
